SaaS is actually an acronym for both Software-as-a-Service and Storage-as-a-Service; confusing.. I know. We can only hope that cloud computing will aid in creating a foundation to retrieve our own personal healthcare records from anywhere in the world. I believe it is a future we all hope for, sooner rather than later. Thanks for the comment!

No disrespect intended but SaaS usually refers to Software-as-a-Service. But the cloud is a great place for medical because there are so many records. The other advantage to having med. records in the cloud is that if a person gets hurt away from home can those records not be called up from another city, state, or, theoretically, even another country. This is not considering the money savings of not having to aquire the hardware.
