Why I Created TheDigitalPathologyWiki.com
February 23rd, 2010 by alowe

A few months ago I was tossing around the idea of creating a resource page for my company website that would help educate consumers about digital pathology.  Then I came across a wiki reference page, via a twitter friend, at the Laboratory for Computational Imaging and Informatics at Rutgers University and the idea was born.  But I had to kick it up a notch!  As a result , www.TheDigitalPathologyWiki.com was created as a vendor neutral resource for the entire digital pathology community.

I am a big advocate for the education of digital pathology.  Educational resources, like TheDigitalPathologyWiki.com, will help to:

  • Boost awareness
  • Improve knowledge
  • Gain recognition and acceptance
  • Enhance communication
  • Bring people together

Moving forward, my company will continue its commitment to the education of digital pathology by launching other  innovate programs and tools for our community.

I am very proud to contribute www.thedigitalpathologywiki.com to our community and hope that it will be embraced by both industry professionals and consumers.  To read the press release click here or visit www.TheDigitalPathologyWiki.com to find, research, and contribute information about digital pathology.
